Signs of Spring

A few signs of Spring here in the garden with some Grape Hyacinth, Spring Stars & one lonely Daffodil not quite fully opened.

My trusty scarecrow will let me know when the Freesias & Jasmine are out!!

Motif Madness

Yes.......even more crochet.  You could say I got addicted to these little coasters.  The pattern appeared in the June issue of 'Better Homes & Gardens' magazine.

With another gloomy day here, I think it would be wise to stay indoors & crochet......if real life allows that is!

More Crochet

I've spent the day in the garden & I'm pleased to say that as I type this that the rain is falling quite heavily. I love to spend time in the garden, particularly when the Blue Wrens decide to come & fossick close to me. 

Above are some more recently created crocheted items......my favourite being the felted mat in the bottom pic.  This sits on the table holding my trusty ipad!

Crochet

I've dusted off the crochet hooks & have been spending a bit of time this Winter crocheting.  It's such a soothing & relaxing craft, often with quick results, which is what I'm very fond of.  

I hope the weather here this weekend
is a little better than the forecast indicates, as a trip to our local nursery yesterday saw me arrive home with quite a few plants to be distributed amongst the garden here. Fingers crossed!

Three Months Old

Initially we had seven.....now two.  You get attached to them & it wasn't easy to see them go, but it has been an experience & a really busy time.....never a dull moment!
